For the fisheries sector, it opens up new opportunities for technical and commercial cooperation in a region rich in inland and coastal water resources\u2014assets still underutilized but essential for future food security.The five-year renewable Memorandum includes joint investment strategies in fish production and trade, and promotes the adoption of innovative food processing technologies. In this context, the Italy Ethiopia fisheries agreement could become a valuable entry point for Italian seafood companies seeking to export know-how, processing plants and integrated supply chain models.Another strategic area of cooperation is traceability.
